Lucinda made her theatrical debut at 15 in "Cains Hand" at the Bellevior Theatre in Sydney and then went on to train at the National Theatre Drama in Melbourne, She played various parts in film and television before landing the role of "Melanie" (the one with the funny laugh) in "Neighbours". After 3 successful years with the show she decided to move to the UK.
Whilst living there she presented "Parallel 9" and "Highly Sprung" for the BBC, "Soap Fever" for Granada TV. Played "Marion" in "The Basil Brush Show", "Clare O'Grady" in "Doctors" and voices "Mitsy", "Alice", "Lolly" in animated children's show "The Koala Brothers" for the BBC.
She was a regular guest improvisor with the Comedy Store Players, performed stand up in London as one half of Comedy Duo "Cowden and Bourne" and wrote and performed her own one woman show; "Bland Ambition" at The Edinburgh Festival.
Her Theatrical credits include; "Dead White Males", "The John Wayne Principal", and "Don Quixote" at The Nuffield Theatre in Southampton, "Mister Melancholy", "Half A Life", "Petunia Takes Tea", "Wolf Lullabuy" for Blue Tongue Theatre Company. "Killing Kagaroos" for "Made in Wales", "Twelfth NIght", "The Importance of Being Earnest", "and "Blythe Spirit" for "Incisor Theatre Company. "Hedda Gabbler" and "The Man Of The Future Is Dead" for "Open Secret Theatre Company" at The Edinburgh Festival 2006. "Peter Pan" at The Gala Theatre Durham, 2007.
Lucinda also taught Drama at "Startek, The London Drama School" specialising in improvisation, audition technique and wokring with cameras.
Lucinda returned to Melbourne in 2010, for the last four years she worked for "Jump For Joy" in Kinders and creches around Melbourne, a Performing Arts based Educational Program as well as continuing her Acting work, appearing in Commercials for "Work Safe", "Jetstar", "Coles" and "Purple Bricks" in feature film; "Chocolate, Strawberry, Vanilla" and Comedy Pilot "How To Talk Australians". Lucinda recently received her Certificate IV in Training and Education and helped by musician Fiona Lee Maynard created "Bouncy Beats" a Drama and Music incursion for Pre-schoolers (www.bouncybeats.net) which has now rolled out in Bayside Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula. Lucinda also teachers Public Speaking to 6-15 year olds through Super Speak (www.superspeak.com) .
